Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 September 2026 · Applies to Navidog, Navidog for SQL Server, Navidog for Oracle and Postgres & Friends on iOS, iPadOS and macOS.

The short version

These apps collect nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising. Nothing you type and nothing you connect to is sent to us, because there is no server of ours to send it to.

What stays on your device

• Connection settings — host, port, username, database or schema, and the options you choose. Stored in the app's preferences on your device.
• Passwords, access tokens, SSH keys and passphrases — stored in the system Keychain, never in preferences and never in a log.
• Query history, saved queries and open tabs — stored on your device so the app can restore your session.
• Your data — rows you browse or edit are held only in memory while the app is showing them.

Deleting a connection removes its Keychain entry. Deleting the app removes everything else.

Where the app connects

The only network connections the app makes are the ones you ask it to:

• Your database servers, directly, at the address you entered — optionally through an SSH tunnel you configure. Nothing is proxied through us.
• Cloudflare's API, only if you add a Cloudflare D1 connection, using the account id and API token you supply.
• Apple, for in-app purchases and the App Store rating prompt, handled by the operating system.
• This website, if you tap a link to it.

There are no third-party SDKs for analytics, attribution, advertising or crash reporting in these apps. The SQL editor's assets are bundled in the app rather than fetched from a CDN, so opening the editor makes no network request at all.

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple. We receive Apple's anonymous transaction records through App Store Connect; we never see your name, email address or payment details. The app stores only which entitlement you hold and when it expires, on your device.

Children

These are developer tools and are not directed at children. We knowingly collect no information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the previous wording is replaced here. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
